  • actually the models of those engines numbered cn8000 to 80something are an order that was supposed to go to the N.S. railway,but were not taken by them instead C.N.Rail got them, hence the american arrangement of headlights on the cabs,the actual true canadian engines are numbered 8800 to 88something and have the canadian style headlight arrangement on the nose.Just a tidbit of useless info to digest.
