totally agree with plywood34, way before its time. One great song, when your lass is watching all the tv soap opera shite may i recommend headphones, glass of red and turned up to 30.

Ginger (The Wildhearts) adores this song and covered it for their covers album "Stop Us If You've Heard This One Before: Vol. 1" - now that my friends, is high praise indeed! The most consistently brilliant British (or otherwise) songwriter including this in his select few songs that merited a reminder to the rock n roll world of its utter fabulousness! This song never ever gets old! I can just see John Peel playing this cracker back-to-back and still wanting to play it again for his audience!

This song should be on the list of everybody's top ten rock songs. I'm still amazed it never became a runaway hit, I think it was too guitar hard for it's time.
