This gun gets an easy 150-175 feet.

what would be the max effective range for this gun? I have airsoft gun cam videos if anyone is interested. Afew more videos will actually be coming out in 4 days with camera man footage, gun cam action and still tripod videos all mixed together. There will be 10 players (with automatics) in a very small playing area. So if your interested in watching that, just come check them out on my channel.

Yeah I dout that an 8.4 700 mah (or 1700, he was unclear) NiCd battery would cost 45 dollars.

Hey. I would suggest getting a better battery like an 8.4 volt 3,500 or 3,800 mah battery. They last a lot and increase your rate of fire and your feet per second. I would think a 9.6 volt battery would ware out your gearbox. Just a suggestion.

Depends on what your useing the gun for. But i would get this gun beacuse you could turn it into a more compact fun if you wanted easily. If you going for DMR then go with the A3.

get a screw driver and WD40 and push it out, make sure it is the right one too.
