This evening we took in a 7 year old bully named Otis who has such a gentle spirit. For several weeks he has been having problems with his back legs according to his owners. About 2.5-3 weeks ago he went completely paralyzed in his back legs and is completely incontinent. This is the first video (10/8/2009). I am heading to the 24 hour care facility with the on call neurologist to get him seen ASAP. Since the paralysis is so new, I want to jump on it before we could cause more damage.

In addition, from dragging his back legs he is raw on the bottoms of his legs, thighs and groin.

I just put him in the shower stall to clean him up a bit (he pees as he drags himself and I think baths will be a daily occurrence). I walked away to grab a towel and that little bugger pushed the heavy glass door open, crawled over the step and through my bedroom. He has a fighting spirit!

Please help us help Otis. We have 2 paralyzed and incontinent dogs in our care this week and thousands of dollars in surgical and veterinary bills for these 2 alone.

Our vet Dr. Lloyd Shaw in Woodstock Illinois is a specialist for bullies please anyone who has an english, british, BULLDOG please see him if another vet cannot help you or tries to force you into unnecessary procedures such as elongated soft palate removal, etc.

  • they have a wheel chair type thing for dogs who are paralyzed in the back legs. it connects to the back of them and has wheels and doesn't hurt them at all

  • I'm feel like I'm about to cry <3

  • u should get the wheels they make to help them move around so he can run
