  • actually a lighter stick does increase the speed of the shot because it is a quicker release and you can shoot it faster and with more power... Speed = Distance / time and with less time which is the time you hit the puck with your stick meens a greater speed BITCH!

  • @signmeup00 Speed = Distance / time means the distance where you shoot from to goal devided with the time the puck took to fly to that goal... Thats how for example speedhero hockey radar works and that formula has nothing to do with composite or wood stick...

  • stick was crashen, when you shot?

  • @xxhalfsquat it's not that wood sticks are better, it's that they are similar enough that justifying the cost of 200 vs 10 dollars isn't worth it. a wood stick is good for training since it is heavy and cheap to replace.

  • @bossmarion how much you can bend the stick would be the same as flex. would it not?

  • @canufi actually with todays technology composite sticks are actually a lot better than wood sticks and the flex does make a difference in the speed of the shot and certain sticks are more comfortable than others trust me if wood sticks were better than NHL players would use them

  • paying $200.00 for a stick is pointless when you can buy wood sticks for $12-$24 which are good training tools since heavier stick trains your muscles. F**k marketing hype for the expensive sticks - they can break too.. f**k that

  • @okpapereat because Chara is a freakin monster!

  • @signmeup00 Sorry but your wrong. The stick's weight and flex have nothing to do with the speed of the shot. What matters most is the combination of strength and technique, i.e. how much you can bend the stick and control the ensuing torque to control the shot. Lifting the stick up before the shot or any kind of big wind-up does not make a difference, unless you have trained your body to "focus" this way. It can be a little counter-intuitive, but I know this from studies.

  • 00:02 HAHAHAHAHA!! :D:D

  • how does a composite stick not aid him in the speed... If the stick is lighter, he can move it quicker thus adding more force and increasing your velocity. Eventhough you lose some mass in the stick, the most of the speed comes from the body and flex... As someone who uses both, my shot is a little faster.
