i bought my first essie nail polish in mesmerize its a gorgous blue and I loved it! it doesnt chip it stays glossy day after day its better than opi in my opinion i absolutely love this nail polish, so i went out and purchased punchy pink and perky purple thinking it would be the same lovely nail polish but it wasnt, it dries very matte and like u said streaky after a few coats it looks fine and i learned to like the matte color, i was dissapointed it was like mesmerize but i still love essie!

i have punchy pink. it is very streaky and i ahve to apply 4 coats so that it looks decent. also, it dries extremely matte, so a shiny top coat is needed. i have mixed feelings about this nail polish, but i love the color!
