Decided to go totally bald and managed to find a barber who would do it using a straight razor. He took my hair off in less than 10 minutes, start to finish. Thanks to the Razor barber shop in Fore Street, Exeter for letting me film the process!

  • Wow, 10,000 views is 9,999 more than I thought it would get. Thanks to everyone who has watched and those who gave the video a thumbs up.

  • Hey there! Excellent headshave. Kinda makes me want to try it. I don't think that anywhere near me do this type of cut... So, I guess a trip to Exeter is in order.

A similar amount of hair will be "hitting the floor" if I get the balls to do it as I've always wanted to get a headshave ... This barbers, do they accept walk-in's or do you Have to book a headshave. I Better find out where they are as I'm going to give it a try.

    Best regards!

  • @Rob30plymouth Hi. I just walked in off the street and didn't have to wait. There's a place in Plymouth that does straight razor head shaves: the Compton Barber Shop. I guess it depends what you want. I prefer a more traditional barber shop set-up. The place in Exeter is about halfway down Fore Street on the right. Good luck!

  • I heard of someones voice getting on your nerves but your own voice getting on your nerves is...well the best way to put is funny as hell.

  • @MikeSpike227 It's true! Plus I was nervous and saying the first things that were coming into head. Ugh. The barber probably thought I was a fool!

  • Yes to you growing a beard and keeping the head shaved!!!!

  • @boris77 I'm really tempted to try out the bald head and full beard combination. I'll let the beard grow in for a couple of months and then put something up on my YT channel.

  • Thanks for the comments :) Do I like it: yeah, a lot. Will I keep it.: uh, maybe. Perhaps I'll just grow a beard or something and keep the head bald.

  • You definitely can't let your hair grow back...you have a perfect head for a totally smooth look!

  • Once I was drunken when I tried to shave my head and I nearly cut off my ear

  • Kid in the background looks nervous lol

  • You look great. I've been bald by choice over two years and love it.

Shaving your head the first time is like first sex. You are very nervous about how it will be, then it feels good, then,

    WHAT AN INCREDIBLY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.

I THINK I WANT TO DO THIS EVERY DAY!

  • wow what a difference you look awsome with that shaved look

  • hi everybody i did not know i am on youtube if i knew it is going to on youtube we could do beter wideo come i will give u a free shave :) razor turkish barbers 143a fore street exeter

  • @horza. Cheers for the advice on that barbers in Plymouth - after some research online, seeing as the Plymouth place seems not traditional barbershop-ish, will prob make a trip to Exeter for the big cut...

Will prob be my next day off from work, kinda worried what family/friends will say, but hey ho, if it ends as good as yours, will prob be happy... Just need to find the courage to ask for the headshave... With all that mop currently on there!

  • @Horza1972ex Don't grow a beard.....keep it bald and keep your face shaved as well!
