Se llega al cielo escuchando esta maravillosa melodía, música para elevar el espíritu...
-
@Tekeur1 Oh. Thank you :)

@nauxitt Nope, he used a synthesized version of Henry Purcell's "Music for the Funeral of Queen Mary", which is quiet similar to Sarabande though.

someone hacked into god's ipod

@whatevermariver Kubrick's preceding film, 'A Clockwork Orange' also used a synthesized version of it (I think).

@AugustusOctavianus8 very well said

Realmente una maravilla!!!

@Daegann99 Il faudrait vérifier, mais je me demande si ce n'est pas la bo des versions restaurées du film. Cette orchestration n'est pas de Haendel, c'est celle du film. L'original est pour violon et basse.

Handel makes being a human not so bad after all
@ShawnC15
la folia is not for the dead.
it's for the consummation of fiery love. the precipice of bitter hatred. the birth of an empire. the fall of Man. the moment of epiphany. the loss of hope. vindication. fruition of destiny. self emancipation. or perhaps simply the moment you catch the eye of a beautiful woman from across the room. the dead do not know passion. la folia is for the living.

Breathtaking pace, exquisite pathos, Handel's rendition of this popular 16th Century piece, originally entitled "La Follia" escapes the constraints of its small origins to morph into an epic piece.
