  • the sierra sierra evo needs to go to japans revspeed time attack battle and try beat the hks tsukuba lap record....then it will be the god of time attack....till then the hks evo is still god of time attack

  • @leesturbo I didn't see many missed apexes in that run, apart from the corners were there's more grip in the centre of the track because of the resurfacing like in turns 1 and 3, you can see him take it a little wider to avoid the low grip surface on the inside of the corners.

    Loving that blow-off valve :]

  • i thought i heard dog's barkin'

  • JESUS!!!

  • @sodazman cyber isnt the only time attack car to use custom carbon panels ... infact there are quite a few including the sierra sierra evo i beleive ...

  • @somerandomaussie Which is why their lap time only counts under the OEM custom chassis class. The custom dry carbon panels gives a noticeable advantage to the car. Instead of adding in aero bits which add weight, they can mold it directly into the shell.

  • @sodazman hks evo still has a fairly stock evo chassis but it covered in dry carbon body panels ...

  • @somerandomaussie The HKS is a full carbon car which is really in a different league. This car still has a metal shell.

  • @dammitred Finally someone who knows what they're talking about. :D

  • @leesturbo - height of arrogance to assume to criticize "missed apexes" as errors or that you see a faster line. Where he didn't take textbook apex routes clearly it was a faster line and probably a combo of traction and setup for the faster exit or faster pavement...3/10ths is a LOT of time at this level, for that matter knocking 3/10ths off my personal best at a track puts a BIG smile on my face, and lots left on the table as shown by *great* who driver took ~1.5-2s off my PR in my car ;)
