This sequel to "Spirallohedra Rule!" shows how two more plane "uniform tilings that are not edge-to-edge" arise from taking plane sections of a close-packing of mixed 3- and 6-armed rhombic spirallohedra.
I just love what you have done here. I've been working with this tiling for years after studying Moorish tiles in the Alhambra. To see it sprung loose like this is thrilling.
I'm not the poster, I'm his son, but the programs used to create these tilings and animations were Mathematica and POV Ray.
The song playing was played by my father, I'm not sure if it was an original composition or not, but there you go.
