Dynasty Warriors 7 - Deadliest Weapon Setups (Double Element & Synergy) [HD]

Double Element or Synergy setups are the deadliest. Dependent on what your weapon choices are you may need to use one or the either, since obviously not all weapons can share the same element to enable Synergy, or both have different powerful elements for double element.

If you're using fire and ice on both of your weapons, double element may not have a big enough effect to warrant it taking up a slot.

Double Element Setup:

1 weapon with wind, slash or lightning element
1 weapon with wind, slash or lightning element
Both weapons needs to be different elements
Wind is recommended for one of the elements for guard breaking

Seals:
1x Double Element
2x Officer Assassin
2x Elemental Attack Up
1-2x Attack Up+++ (if your attack isn't maxed)

This will give you the deadliest elemental charge attack (regular and musou attacks are not effected). Dependent on the weapon it can kill an officer in one charge attack, or deplete most of their health otherwise.

Synergy Setup:

2 weapons with the same element (preferably wind, slash or lightning; however fire and ice is okay if that's all you have)

Seals:
2x Synergy
2x Officer Assassin
1-2x Attack Up+++ (if your attack isn't maxed)

Can also be added:
1-2x Elemental Attack Up (for increased charge damage)

Synergy seems to have a large effect on the base strength of attacks minus element. It is extremely deadly with musous and can deplete an officer in a single musou under Chaos difficulty. Synergy tends to be better for characters who have little elements in their charge attacks and have damaging musous.

Of course, Synergy should be used whenever you can't use Double Element depending on your weapon choices.

There is no clear verdict, it will be dependent on the characters and weapons you use.

Finally as a reminder, if you want the highest amount of challenge it is recommended to try to use these specific setups only as necessary or to speed power stats. Otherwise the game may become a bit less fun and enjoyable.
