  • I didn't know this was a Carmelite Church, intitially. Now I know. I served as organist in a Carmelite parish some years ago.. It's something that is difficult to describe to others. ..perhaps you just had to be there....the true humility and reverence is palpable! The beautiful chant-based acclamations are rendered prayerfully by the wonderful musicians! I'm a lay person, not a cleric, in case that matters.

  • Such elegant simplicity! The subtle organist softly intones the notes for the Celebrant, who sings well. I loved the chant-based Eucharistic acclamations, especially the "Amen" based on the Sanctus from Missa de Angelis. Bravo!
