Tony Dron in-car v Anthony Reid at 2008 Goodwood Revival

Breathless St Mary's trophy 2008 battle between Tony Dron (Ford Zodiac) and Anthony Reid (Jaguar Mk1), from the point of view of Dron. Shame it only lastest a few laps, but this is two seasoned racers dicing for the lead without ever looking like they were going to make contact. Exciting stuff!

@M4OON Tell me about it! It was such an exciting race to watch for those few laps. After the Zodiac retired it was plain sailing for Reid.

Great! At the point where Mr. Dron came to a stop me and a friend must be in the video. We where right at that point and saw the Zodiac break down and come to a standstill right before our eyes. I think it was less than 10 meters and I probably have it on video too. But what a treat to see it from the car. I definately have to go back fot more Goodwood. It was heaven! Rolf from Holland

It just goes to show - you dont always need State-of-the-Art, high tech motors for close wheel to wheel action - plus theres somrthing slightly unreal & peculier about seeing these classic motors being ragged about on track - Its like the Queen, in a pair of Denim jeans with her thumbs in the belt hoops dancing to Staus Quo ! ha ha ha ha
