Hey guys! Decided to put in a chain drive to see how it would sound on my doors. So far I'm LOVING it! I maybe getting a 2265 for the middle door :)

  • @sms373 From my dealer... He's also got like 5/6 older style belt drive rails. There all 8 ft, but I can easily cut the rail down to size, and maybe put up an old 1270. They have one that's brand new in the box sitting in the warehouse, so I might think about buying it off of my boss!

  • Why are your openers angled so far down?

  • @sms373 It's better to have your openers angled down. It puts less stress as the chain/belt is pulling/pushing the door closed. Little installers trick ;) The opener should never be 100% level...
