Sorry for any mistakes made. This is the first cover of a series of approximately 10+ videos, combined to cover the video called 'Stream of Instrumentals', which is a 1,5 hour mix of instrumental sections by Dream Theater. The list at the start of this video will give an impression of the massiveness of this set list :') Wish me luck.

Also sorry for the poor sound and tuning on the last bit of Beyond this Life and also sorry for the problems with the greenscreen, hope it still turned out good enough for a cover :) Tell me

Alright, so here it is, as promised.. The first part of the cover of 'Stream of instrumentals'. I might be re-mastering this later, but for now this will be my starting point. Hopefully I will be able to fix that greenscreen thing .. Went a bit too bad at some points.

I have said that if I got 100 thumbs up on a comment on the Stream of Instrumentals video, I would do a cover. Obviously, I will not be making a 1,5 hour video since it will take weeks or maybe months to be able to play everything (Or at least, give it my best shot..) Few days ago I was reminded of my comment, and notified of the fact that I had 104 thumbs up so far.. Man of my word, so here you go Youtube!

I have used an older video for the arpeggios on The Glass Prison.

I learned the solo for Beyond this life about 2 days ago, and my fingers even started bleeding cause I've been playing it all day long..

All songs are in Standard tuning (6 or 7 string obviously) so far.

I have been playing for about 2,5 years now, probably 3 years by the time I finish this 'project' o.O

All effects are from my ampflifier (except for the Wah-wah from my Dunlop pedal.) my amp is a Vox Valvetronix AD100VT-XL (in other words: 100 Watt extra large I guess.)

Sorry for not being too energetic, I have done many takes to get everything right and was more concentrated on hitting the right notes.

I will try to improve the sound quality, it's a bit fuzzy and crackly.. And too sharp. I have bought some equipment to record in Stereo especially for this whole 'project'-thing and still figuring out the best set-up. Advice is greatly appreciated :)

Made the turning logo myself with After Effects CS4, will be adding a shitload of other effects on future videos to make it more entertaining, but I will need ideas and need to develop special effect skills as well ^^
