#19 - Ron Paul votes to protect constitutional rights of child predators instead of children rights... Negative. Since children are citizens of the U.S. which have inherent rights under the Constitution AND because they are the most vulnerable, his principles of defending the Constitution protects them the most.

#20 - Believes Bush is "determined" to impose martial-law through the bird flu scare... hahaha, and how about Obama with swine flu? Also, Obama was the one who signed the NDAA which...

#16 - Reestablish gold and silver as legal tender... the Constitution specifically states that ONLY those could be legal tender. The Fed is unconstitutional and has no authority under the Constitution to establish paper money.

#13 - Repeal No Child Left Behind... This is the worst education bill ever to be signed by a president. It has done nothing to improve U.S. education and is very expensive.

#14 - Wants to befriend commies and dictators... not really. He claims it is important to trade with them though in order to maintain peace.

#15 - Wants to run from terrorists.... He's not running from terrorists. He voted to authorize President Bush to send troops after Al Qaeda.

#10 - Solicits votes from drug abusers... there's no evidence to that claim. He has said publicly that he doesn't think it would be a good idea for anyone to become addicted to dangerous drugs.

#11 - Phase Out Social Security.... Social Security is a broken system. Either we need to fix it or get rid of it.

#12 - Revoke public services for illegal immigrants... ummm, they're NOT CITIZENS! They shouldn't get government support if they're not citizens. They don't pay the taxes for these services

#7 - Eliminate the IRS... do you like keeping the money you earn? I thought so....

#8 - End most foreign aid.... Actually, end all foreign aid. We should take care of our own people first before shelling out billions of dollars to take care of someone else's.

#9 - Oveturn the Patriot Act... that's a no brainer. Unless you like the government wire-tapping your phones without a warrant, or searching your house without warrant, then go ahead and support it. Read the 4th Amendment.

#4 - He does not want to get rid of the Dept of Homeland Security. He emphasizes a need for national defense. He just wants to end the overseas commitments we have. Nothing wrong with that.

#5 - OK, so he wants to send the U.S. military to guard the southern border. And? Apparently, ICE has done a horrible job of doing it.

#6 - Stop federal prosecutions of obscenity? That's kind of vague, don't you think? If by obscenity, you mean offensive language, read the First Amendment.

Refuting claim #1: We shouldn't be in Iraq or patrolling the seas of the Iranian coast.

#2: He does not want to pull the U.S. out of International Trade Agreements. He's for free trade. He does want to pull the U.S. out of the UN/NATO and the International Criminal Court because we are a sovereign country.We don't need someone else telling us what laws to follow.

#3: Absolutely we should end the war on drugs. It's costing this government billions and incarcerating minorites for possession.
