Haven't played this game in at least 8 years now. I remember playing the ACross even before that. The game seems to have evolved a LOT :) Didn't know people still played this. Great game.

@ArkFromTerranigma centered camera gives u more sight of whats behind u and under u but takes it from whats above u and in front of you.

u can increase the RES and use centered camera. i like doing that but only for piping so i dont get a headache. lol

also i like to disable the map when its centered.. because i hate how its moving from side to side

I find it really hard to play without centered camera... :s i guess it's all about practice :D
