please leave a comment also you are interested in some other great music stop by a friend of mine (bluessmith) is his channel name!!! oh and if you didnt already know this is stevie ray vaughan covering jimi hendrix's voodoo child in studio!! Rip srv 1954-1990

here is somthing that I would like to say about stevie (after years of fighting a multitude of problems-personal,managerial,and drug related -all the hard work finaly paid off, stevie had discoverd a level of julfillment he could only of dreamt of.

And then tragedy struck . On August 27, 1990 following an all-star jam with Eric Clapton , Brother Jimi Vaughan ,Buddy Guy, And Robert Cray at Alpine Valley in East Troy ,Wisconsin, Stevie's helicpter crashed, taking the lives of all five passengers........ The music world had suddenly lost on of its most brilliant stars......

"so much has been writen about Stevie ,says bass player Tommey shannon," "but no one has touched on what was really improtant to stevie. Reaching people, and sending them love, and blessings, thats all he was after.Everything Stevie did turned to gold."

  • @man0warII What's with the American spelling obsession? Are you so proud of yourselves you can spell? I guess is a first rate intellectual achievement graduating elementary school.I'm impressed.Do you want a prize?About the song being Blues in structure you're right...technically...but it's considered a Rock not a Blues anthem even though Rock is a branch of the Blues. The point of my comment is in its content not in its form and yeah btw it's : that is or that's not thats friend.

  • @man0warII Listen to Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) in Atlanta in '70. You'll see what I mean. Don't get me wrong, I love Hendrix. It's just I prefer Stevie Ray's thick Texas wah kind of tone. I still think Hendrix was the superior songwriter and musician.

  • @ZeppelinFan6980 whattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!

  • @WalterWolf000 excuse me walter but its jimi not jimmy.. and thats blues not rock.. but its ok.. easy to make the mistake.. but its 12 bar blues ur listening to.. 12 measures..

  • Stevie Ray is the only man that understood Hendrix, hence the awesome covers.
