Great. I think perhaps her acting gets the better of her breathing at times, but I don't mind. There is passion! If I want perfect singing I turn to recordings or boring stagings ;-))

@Hergesell156 I agree. Unless you are a professional singing coach, how can you presume to criticise her breath control when a video cannot show exactly what she's doing anyway!

I can't make any sense of the production here. What on earth is she doing in a big clock! The story is good enough to stand on its own, it doesn't need 'clever symbolism' like this to make it work. It's just different for the sake of being different. Netrebko's voice is OK until you hear others - I have Teresa Stratos on CD and Angelina Gheorghiu on DVD and both show Netrebko up as being a little harsh. But I agree with those who have said the comments on screen are naff.

This is what drew me to opera.

She's good but unfortunately the first version of this I've heard was sung by Callas and compared to that her interpretation is almost superficial.

Prachtige stem.

Thank you for the video, but your comments about her perfomance are stupid.
But she's just AMAZING!!! I love how she just has fun with her music and really makes the audience entertained!!!
