Thank you for commenting. I would love to have an electric car. I need the auto-manufacturers to make them so rich people can buy them, get sick of the color, buy a new one, and sell the old one to me at a better price.

I OWN 25 of these batteries in my 2000 Ford Ranger EV NiMH

You can forget about that Green economy now that Obama sold us out to his special interest pals. When you're going to transition to clean energy you don't build new nuclear power-plants all around the country that'll be on-line for 70 years. I'd bet my life Bloom energy get killed dead or outlawed. We're going to get stuck with cheap battery technology for cars, and electrical energy that's mainly coal and nuclear, leaving it in the hands of the same shit-bags as now.

@HemiHead66 Obama has made me pretty sad with some of his decisions. I guess I'm going to have to do this on my own. I have more videos on my page. I took the gas engine out of an old truck and replaced it with an electric motor.

NiMH is kinda old technology. Pulling their patents would not help EV use to much. Super Capacitor technologies looks more promising to me.
Thanks

I guess we can make NiMH batteries now without worrying about patents. NiMH may be old technology but it works for the hundreds of RAV4-EV that are currently driving around. RAV4-EV would probably be more affordable than Tesla. We don't need a bunch of Tesla's we need affordable electric cars.

Ironic that the people who own the technology that could compete with oil companies are the oil companies.
