i didn't listen too carefully, but you probably didn't leave 2nd gear for the whole event did you? the course i drive is on a hovercraft pad, which is easily three or four times the size of a football field...but immaculately maintained...no weeds...so it is wide open and we have some really fast courses and i never leave 2nd gear...so my point is that your fast driving (in this instance) is not as much a matter of your shifting as it is your understanding of maintaining your momentum.

No, I didn't leave 2nd once I got there. If I'd had to shift -- and I did try it on my 1st run -- the loss of momentum was a time-killer. Also, 1st had "too much torque", and on the bad surface it let me get too loose too easily.

I have to be honest, I was pretty impressed by the driving, even though I hate Ferrari as a whole. I do have to say I will be bitterly disappointed if this is just another hack who drives a paddle shift 355.

I don't mean to be blunt, but the paddle-shifter is for pussies!

I've also road-raced this car extensively, and can outshift the computer most of the time.

nice drive...how is that truck so close to the track when you spun...try the pro solo next july in toledo.. i race in socal where el toro airfields in irvine is huge with great grip

Sweet, so it is an H box! Props man, you are really smooth despite the rough and obviously low grip surface you're driving on.
