@DrummingSentinel I believe that nobody can express or explain the groove alone in the studio, with backing tracks and playing for a tutorial which try to explain some drum techniques. Rock & Roll requires interaction between musicians.

I think he has summarised chad incorrectly. In fact his drumming looks simple but there is more going on than you think (especially in live playing)

He's not claiming to 'groove'. He is claiming to have a dvd which teaches you to play the songs that Chad Smith plays.

From personal experience, i know this guy can groove, go and listen to some guthrie govan tunes. pete is an INSANE player.

@DrummingSentinel I believe he is merely showing us the breakdown of a few Smith tunes. You can't teach groove anyways and I'm sure this fella can groove too. You should know better than that.
