Let me explain the storyline of Drakengard. It starts out with a war between 2 empires to rule a woman who protects more or less the earth from destruction, if she dies the world will destroy itself. this guy falls in love with that very womand but the good empire protects her. This guy is so in love with the woman that he helps the evil empire and more or less ends up destroying the world by kidnappig her. The story is about love and chaos, the dragons and fantasy is an extra for more game time

you could have left out the fantasy and such but then you would have had only like 30 hours of gameplay in one storymode while you have like 60-70 hours of game time with the fantasy, the game is also one of the very few with such a serious story line with a bit of fantasy. if you take the time to look at some more videos and understand the sortyline the you would see what i mean. but next time don't just conclude that it's not serious because it's got fantasy in it please.
