BEN FOLDS GOES OVER THE HEDGE

Ben Folds was recruited as the musical director for the film Over The Hedge and he contributed five songs to the collection. The soundtrack arrived in stores on Tuesday, but the movie opened nationally this weekend.


Ben talked about what was special about music used in film.

He also shared what it was like to work under the reputable Hans Zimmer on the soundtrack.

The gem of the collection is a version of Ben's "Rockin' The Suburbs" with special guest vocalist William Shatner. This isn't the first time the two have worked together. The former Star Trek captain teamed with Folds for an album under the moniker, Fear Of Pop.
