  • physiotherapy is all about treatment evaluation and treatment, wat they do in italy then?

  • Orthopaedic, neuro, vascular tests are useful in detecting the general conditions of tendons, ligaments, blood vessels so to direct our approach. Of course our purpose is to identify musculo-skeletal disfunctions, restricted rom, disabilities and participation problems, but we have responsibility in detecting both red flags and various other impairment that maybe are not so serious but that can put ourselves in difficulty if not detected and sent to doctors in order to make the diagnosis !

  • get products like these for less at ptunited.com

  • In many countries only doctor do the diagnosis and you have to rely on him.. BUT there are several, where therapists are free to go, and can diagnose. For now I heard that Australia, Canada, probably France and some other maybe. They want to relese our profession in Norway (that I heard at the University). Witch is good I think, cuz when it's coming to muscles, bones, ligg, movement and other stuff many therapists have knowledge as good or sometimes better.

  • Are you saying that PTs should solely rely on the doctor's diagnosis?

  • you are right, as pts we don't perform a medical diagnosis ! However we can perform screening tests using methods similar to doctors' to rule out conditions that do not meet our inclusion criteria or for safety reasons.

  • because the doctor makes the diagnosis for you

  • that girl is hot

  • How can you treat someone without making a diagnosis?
