I'm 16, and I listen to Johnny Cash, Harry Chapin, Don McClain, Frank Sinatra and Bob Dyan. And I'm Damn proud of it. Old School music is awesome.

@Nos482 Johnny Cash never took credit for a song he never wrote. And Nine Inch Nails sayed in an interview that Johnny Cash practicly owned that song.

The original writer of Cats In The Cradle is Harry Chapin.
-
@BigDawg3579 That's apparent with your lack of grammar.

Good grief! nobody cares if you´re 15 , 16 or whatever if you´re into this kind of music great, pat yourself mentally on the back and that´s it. Don´t expect any awards for recognizing true inspiration. It´s not a requirement to like this type of music to be human, but I´m not gonna lie it DAMN SHOULD BE. Stop posting your ages as if it were an f-ing child molestors catalog (with good taste, musical taste at that)

haha funny first picture

@Nos482 Personally I think he manages to strip the emotion from this song but what he does to hurt is a lot

What has fallout 3 to do with this song?
-
id trade the cat screaming sound we call music today for the real music from 1990 to 1960
-
@MrFalloutdudevault21 its because fallout 3 has the boy looking for his dad (or daughter, whichever you choose)

@itsallgood239 No Johnny Cash was not the original writer of this song, Im not entierly sure exactly who the original writer was but Im certin it was not Johnny Cash, he was just a cover for the song. Also I agree with you this is a great song.
