Well I've converted one of these rc bikes into a snarling (ha ha) nitro powered machine. I'm now going to convert my other stock model into a brushless monster. This particular bike had a rather bumpy crossing from the USA when I bought it from ebay. It got damaged in it's box and was returned to the sender. He, very nicely, found a new set of front forks, fitted them and posted it back to me, for no extra charge! Top Man! It's a bit sluggish, stock, so I think sticking a MAMBA MAX 7700kv motor up it's jacksey, should give it the shot in the arm I so richley deserve! Here's to some fast and furious offroad fun over the summer!

  • did you put the fan on or did it come like that?

  • It had the fan on like that when I bought the speed controller!

  • Just fyi, Kv != kilovolt (kV). Kv (capital K, lowercase v) is a rating of RPM per volt. So your 7700Kv Mamba max does 55440RPM @ 7.2V.

  • Thanks, I'll note that one down!

  • ricky carmicheal rides suzuki... wth? when you get these bikes, they look like honda.... bikes... or is it they come from radio shack and they dont pay to much attention to detail...?

  • At one point Ricky Carmicheal rode for Honda. It was at this point that radio shack licenced his name to put on their rc bike.

  • @link99999135 gyro

  • how do they balance?

  • notice the "made in china" LOL

  • i know why your ricky carmichael is so slow on its hole shot it is because you are useing a motor with to much kv. instead of useing a 7700kv which doesent have that much torque you should use a 5700kv brushless motor. a 5700kv brushless motor has more torque than a 7700kv motor does because the 7700kv is made to go faster and not have as much torque. i hope that this helps you out with your brushless project.

  • I have two of these, I recieved them from Christmas on there first month of Realese a few years ago. I hear now there Limited edition?

    Am I correct?

  • lol... u should be a hypnotist
