it's weird listening to "So Real" after 2 years of not listening to it. an amazing song but tainted with my past drug use. it's sad yet mesmerizing at the same time. it was such a bad time for me, very hazy and confusing. this song brings back so much.

Listening from 3:12 - 4:00 proves that this was his best live vocal performance of this song over any other live show, in my opinion. The high notes are comparable to the studio version. The way that he fires that E5 at 3:45 and then scoops up to an F5 (I think) at 3:51 is absurd. He had such a coordinated head voice and full voice (the outro to So Real is a great example), which is very difficult to do and sustain at that pitch. He was so gifted that it wasn't even funny.
