  • Love your approach. You have managed to get a true acoustic sound from your guitar that is both warm and crisp. Your playing is what really makes the music good. Very musical.

    Thanks for this video.

  • Thank you!

  • Sweet. Every second of it. Bravo.

  • Thank you! Did I tell you how much my family and I are enjoying your CD? Anybody reading this, check out this guy, a wonderful guitarist!

  • Hi Jake. I love your stuff, but how come your sound is so crisp and clear??

Could you please what kind of strings you use?

    Keep it coming.......

  • Thanks! I use the regular neck pickup direct through a Yamaha DG Stomp, plus a little bit of signal from a Fishman Piezo pickup, also direct. I use very cheap bulk no name strings P12-16-20-W32-42-52.

  • BUT DONT GO IIIIIIIIIIIIIIN

  • Skilled guy, but he is also funny to watch as he always looks like he is waiting for the bus while playing totally sublime.

  • This is really great!

I just watched this movie again the other day. You have really captured the essence of the the tune, the harmony sounds right. It is really important to get that (what is it called--diminished?) sound right for the feel of this song.

  • Great playing Jake 5*****
