Barbara refuses to pay Dusty because she believes shell be successful at separating Paul and Rose without him. Dusty presses Barbara and she concedes that if he can get Rose into bed before Barbara has her arrested for kidnapping her, the money is his. Dusty brings Rose to his room and subtly turns up the seduction. Rose fights temptation, asserting her love for Paul. Meanwhile, a suspicious Paul calls Molly to check out Roses alibi. Molly confirms that Rose and Dusty are lying. Later, Paul shows up to confront Dusty while Rose worries about the future of her marriage plans. Hal braces himself to ask Jack to bury evidence to protect Emily. He and Emily are surprised when Jack shows up, accompanied by Barbara. Jack tells Barbara openly about the watch evidence against Emily. After Hal asks Emily to leave the room, Jack lowers the boom on Barbara, declaring that her evidence amounts to nothing. When Barbara alludes to an eyewitness, Jack zaps her by guessing its Henry and enumerating the reasons Coleman wont be believed. Hurt and thwarted, Barbara leaves. To ward off Barbara's next volley, Jack intends to use the information he has about her and Dusty. After Jack goes, Emily is relieved to find that Hal forgives her. Jessica, feverish and concerned about Bonnie, asks Ben to contact Marshall, which he does. Isaac and Bonnie are resistant when Marshall arrives, but Isaac realizes the best course of action for Bonnie is to go along with Marshall's story of what happened that night. Ben agrees. Bonnie wants to speak with Jessica but doesn't get the chance before Margo and Evelyn show up.
