SYS (Salesian Youth Spirituality) for the YSY (Youth Serving Youth) Part ll - MISSION speaks of the HEART of every young person at Laura Vicuña Center which beats for the love of GOD! After their formation on SYS, they cannot but go out from themselves and share the beautiful story of God's love to other children/ youth. Story of Christ saving and raising them up from harsh situations to empowering them to lead meaningful lives.
As LVF child advocates, they have immersed themselvesin the difficult realities of the 1,000 children and youth victims of typhoon Ondoy in our different Outreach Areas- Masambong, Del Monte Quezon City, Napindan, Taguig City, Apitong Marikina City and Tumana Marikina City. Through the spiritual and psychosocial support activities, they have effectively shared God's love and the message of HOPE to their fellow youth/ children. In short, Youth Serving Youth (YSY) is a lived reality! The message of God is proclaimed - to love the Lord our God is the heartbeat of the mission....
