The 2010 Census short form has a 28 page supplement entitled The American Community Survey. If you do not fill it out, you could be fined up to $5,000.
Minnesota Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann says that the US Constitution only requires you to provide the number of people in a household and that is all the information that she will be providing for the census. Does the federal government really need to know your phone number, do they need to know the date and time that you leave to go to work, your mental stability? You know the one question that is not on the survey, Are you a US citizen? The 2010 Census does not even ask if you are a legal citizen of the United States.

I just had a census worker stop at my house. She left with this information: There are two people living here. Period.  I told her 'no' when she asked if I would answer. The age of the people living here, the race, my phone number etc. It's none of your business Uncle Sam. Count the People!! Do your job!!!

I've given data to the Census Bureau since 1990 and every 10 years since and I've NEVER heard a Census taker say the word/organization "Acorn". In fact, I worked as a census enumerator in 2000 and I didn't work for Acorn!! Glenn Beck's as nutty as a fruit cake!

I'm in PA. Earlier this year we filled out the short 10 question form. Recently we got the 28 page form asking personal questions, income, what time we leave for work in the morning, how many toilets in the house, if we have stairs in the house, etc. That's just a sample of these invasive questions. I'll not be filling it out.

Not by name or anything else. That is what our constitution says. The census is to find out how many House of Representative seats are needed for each state.
