"Midnight Express" is Alan Parker's harrowing film about Billy Hayes, an American imprisoned in Turkey for drug smuggling. Oliver Stone won the Oscar for the brilliant screenplay, based on the true story.
The music for my tribute is "After the Gold Rush" by Neil Young.

  • Thanks! very good movie teaching and showing it's better to take drugs in our countries ! I go to Thailand many time and come back now....I want to make my life in this country....I know about drugs but some people come and don't care !!! In this country, you can stay many years for only smoking and you can get death penalty for traffic (it begins with 30 grams of grass for example)...

  • Genius editing!

  • Well I dreamed I saw the silver space ships flyin' in the yellow haze of the sun. There were children cryin' and colours flyin' all around the chosen ones. All in a dream..all in a dream. The loading had begun. Flyin' mother nature's silver seed to a new home in the sun... Genious lyrics...love it!!! Thanks for posting this song. Been a long time since I heard it.

  • Excellent work! Works tremendously well; so well, it soars! That Brad Davis wasn't nominated is one of the worst omissions of the Oscars. I always feel that Neil Young starts this song with the imagery of the Knights in Armor and the Archer to set it in a time after the death of Camelot; after the death of Kennedy. In that regard, the song choice is two-fold inspired, my friend.

  • this is so cool!!

  • he's a drug dealer

    Why do we cry ?

  • Great video, congratulations. Martin

  • Brilliant tribute to this amazing movie! Excellent work friend!
