  • my old manx used to do that after licking her butt, haha, no joke. now that i think of it, i wish youtube was around then

  • LoL....i wish it was too. i'd love to see that! how funny....

  • I have a manx cat just like him except he's all white and he is a longie(meaning he has a tail).

  • i love the manx breed, i cant wait to get another one

  • I've owned about a dozen cats (not at one time). I have two now. One for two years and a five month old calico. And she is the first of my cats to do this chirping habit. It is something and very cute. I wasn't paying attention at first and thought it was the birds outside!

  • i just love cats, i cant live without them

  • He wants some poultry for lunch.

  • my manx cat is crazy, i think she sees ghosts D:

but she's funny too, she hugs her feet when she sleeps.

  • @IzzieBe123 the cats do tha cackleing cuz they can taste the bird lol

  • those birds don't know how close they came to being a breakfast!!!

  • lol my cat does the same thing!

  • My sister's cat used to stand outside in his backyard and watch the pigeons from the back porch. All of a sudden, he'd jump up and run into the midst of them, just to watch them fly up and away! ("Wheee!") It's too bad she never got a video of it. He did the chirping noise, too; but only when inside watching from the window.

Whenever spying an (especially unaltered) male cat outside in his territory, he would "snort" at them. To hear it you would think he was sick or having a seizure! =^..^=

  • @m3soohorn3y It's partly out of frustration (that they cannot reach their desired prey) and partly in imitation of the bird chirp -- a type of natural "bird call" or lure. It is a fallacy (mostly promulgated by bird-watchers) that free-roaming (feral, stray or indoor-outdoor) cats are responsible for decimated bird populations. Most cats would rather hunt mice than birds, though, if given a choice. Seldom also are they successful in catching them -- mostly birds are old, sick or injured.

  • i love it when they do that.... lol

  • I can remember wen my cat used to do that. I used to find it quite funny.
