Thanks for the time and effort here man, you dignify electric drumming! Two questions though: Do you think the HPD-10 'feels' better to play with the new proximity sensor than the older HPD-15? and do you think the HPD-10 sounds are better?? Thanks in advance!

HPD-10/15 are 2 different instruments... new pad/sensor of 10 is not really the main argument to choose... the sounds of 10 are not especially better... both units,are great to play... except the price : w/ the 15 you can really build your own instrument, modifying every parameters of factory sounds + the ways of playing w/ ribbons controllers are not possible w/ the 10... for computer/midi works 10 is perfect, for personal real time electronics, direct manipulations the 15 has no rivals yet...
