  • Like the Mk2 better!!!...sorry

  • All these idiots who keep saying "Oh I prefer the old S-Type", should smell the fucking coffee and realize that the S-Type didn't cut the mustard and because of that Jaguar floundered for years and years. It was the jack of all trades, but a master of NONE.

The XF in other hand proved to be a serious match to the German likes of A6, 5er and E-Class and demonstrated that the only for Jaguar to survive is to stop with the retro rubbish and look forward.

  • ... Personally prefer British cars to German but Italian over a

  • Sw1000xg I think I'd rather have an XOR then a 5 series it's an over all better car I persona

  • The ferrari's of these dayse were doing 160 or 170 mph the Aston did 140 mph in there day the ferrari's were the best car money could buy but in the mk2 class facing brands like BMW I'd have to have the mark 2 in its day in this class for its price it was the best car you could get

  • The MKII is the one to have !

They even managed to get the specs wrong...the 3.8 was a straight six for god sake, not a V8 !!

  • the jaguar mk2 is missing its airfilter case.......what a pity

  • Give me a D. Or sell me one. I saw the last real race of a D-Type in 1967, appropriately enough at what was a WW II airfield in Vidalia, GA. Bobby Rahal's uncle Ed (who died last December) took his out for one last run. He lost both Saturday and Sunday races, but on Sunday, he outdragged a Shelby 350 GT to take an early lead and only lost it when the 'stang driver hit 7500 on the main straight.

  • Jaguar's modern HQ is Whitley, Coventry, not Gaydon.

  • was the mk2 sold 2 america?
