  • does he like music ?

  • @skyhacker6 The Cat? sure! :D

  • does Progressive Trance Soung good on these kind of speaker?

  • @raymondleeleggs Don't think so. Jazz, and other acoustic material is the best. The hornspeakers are also a very easy load on the amplifier so a SET tube amplifier is a very good match. +/- 2x6W

  • The fe206e is DIY project? I need the plains because I want to make this type of boxes. Thanks matiasro@hotmail.com

  • @matiasro1 Hi!

Yes, this is a DIY project. The design is Dallas II by Ron Clarke

  • Nice place.

  • what do you think of a solid state amp driving the fostex 206?I really like those speakers but I don't intend to change the power amps. I have 2 N80ES and a Class A TA-N86B(all Sony)

  • Hi my friend, nice setup this amp is amazing but your amp has upgrade in filters, capacitors and cables, do you any web site where i can buy these components?

    Thaks

  • You sir have a dream setup. What are the difference between taller speakers vs bookshelf sizes besides the fact it may be a lot louder.

  • @mteinum I dont see any reason why a speaker with a wide-band driver couldn't do justice to Electronic music, a high current amplifier / a well made tube amp with enough control in the bass and upper frequencies. Combined with a properly built enclosure within the specs required by the driver.

I once heard a pair of older Transmission line bookshelf speakers that had fostex drivers and they didn't exibit any audible breakup. the amp was a High end Sansui if I can remember.
