This sorta happened to my cousin and me. We were born a day a part and a nurse switched our wrist bands n took my cousin to my mom and me to my cousins mom. When my mom saw the baby she knew it wasn't hers n tried to tell the people but no one believed her. They took my cousin home n left me in the hospital, a few days later my mom's Aunt saw the baby n said that she was certain it wasn't my moms n they went to the hospital n did blood tests n thankfully found out the truth n switched us back.

This happened to my brother in 1989 but in Ukraine. There was a woman who was rejecting her own son, and thought that my brother is her son. The woman was of Armenian roots and her baby was born with a bit diff hair color. Looked like it was dark red. She kept snatching my brother.. and screaming " He is my son!!! No!" " That red haired boy is not mine!" She even tried to breastfeed my bro. o_o' lol I think it was baby war there... snatching babies there and back. The women would not stop.

@Arlenassister i am sorry for your loss and what your family had to go through. i hope everyone is doing well. i have seen this movie many times and i cry everytime. i am the same age as kim and arlena, they are actually older then me by only a couple months. but anyway,take care.

This almost happened to me. They switched me and some girl that I dont know in the hospital. But my mom saw the girl and she knew that it wasn't me. :) and it's true. I'm her actual daughter. Thank GOD she noticed the difference soon enough.

The book is "The Baby Swap Conspiracy" that is closer to the truth than this movie. I know as i lived the story FIRST hand!

The mom's comment at 1:13 is not correct. O is the universal donor blood type. Type O blood can be given to anyone, even people with Type B. It's the other way around that would have been dangerous because people with Type O blood don't have the immunity for the B enzyme. You can donate Type O blood to someone who is Type B but you can't give Type B blood to someone who is Type O.
