we dont have kettle bells or bamboo bar so improvised with what you have here. it felt great and really stressed the support muscles

  • mini bands . we bought an extra 2 prs from westside-barbell so next time we go heavier we can have each weight hooked up to its own band.

  • thanks bro, this is a great exercise. if you go light you can do it as rehab. and if you go heavy it can make you stronger. be very careful if you do it heavy.

  • @lilticklez I think its because the bamboo-bar enhance the "wobble" and I would think that the bamboo bar is lighter and its a good thing to have most of the weight you want to lift suspended. I just had surgery to my shoulder and wouldn't be able to lift a 45lb bar with extra suspended weight. So for now I use a broomstick with light suspended weights since i don't have bamboo-bar. Sorry if my english is alittle off.

  • hey why do people use the bamboo for this.. Does having the bamboo being more flexible than an olympic bar help on some way.. I ask because I only have the option of doing this with an olympic bar

  • I talked to Louie the other day about my shoulders. He said he does this every day for 20-25 reps for 5 sets. Why did you start doing these? Did you have shoulder trouble and how long before they started helping easy the pain when benching? Thanks for the video. Louie is the man.
