Lena says her voice is low, and Vanya says: "No, it's not". He's right, Lena has a high-ish voice. Her low notes don't sound good. But I understand what she meant: she was tired of the same sound, always screaming, always high notes. She wanted a more mature sound (like Lyudi Invalidy turned out to be, thankfully). She didn't want to scream, nor Yulia screaming anymore.

I really don't understand Vanya's obsession with having them scream.
