Unfortunatly, kids today may never get to participate in a lifelong memory such as this, perhaps they will remember certain txt messages?

You captured my feelings too.Even though I later realized how manipulative and marketed the whole thing was, I was still absolutely enchanted by the Fair. As an eleven-year-old, the Fair opened my eyes to creativity and wonders. Thank-you.

No more World's Fairs! At the rate technology is going, i do not wanna know what's in store for tomorrow. Soon, even the college campus shall go the way of Border's Books, FYE records, and the USPS. I say in about 15 years, Those blue mailboxes may be worth something!

Yes, thanks for posting this. I too, was a little kid back then but as the video unfolds, I now remember so much of the Fair. Love the shot of the Ford pavillion, that was one of my favorites. If I recall, yo got into a car which would then take you from pre-historic times to the future. Too cool!

I'm glad that you enjoyed it. The movies are 40 years old but I figured that people would enjoy seeing this.
