Gus

yeah Its crazy how young we were while playing with fire, I've been re-hashing old times , listening to cassette tapes of Gus and Myself recording music and having a few laughs - its what life is all about !
Sweet Little Friend was Gus next big hit - as i listen to it now i'm freaked out at how awesome gus was a singing.
I think he wrote it for a high school musician friend of ours who had died from an over dose? that what i remember him telling me, We recorded it at my house in NJ with the analog 8 track ,it sounds very loose till the end - he doubles the vocals so nice, the acoustic just runs along side the vocals perfectly, I think I added the clicks and harmonica , we were so into it -
I had to add the second part of us back in 1992 at JoAnns bar in Mine Hill NJ - Were just talking to the recorder with some mirror band in the background - Gus notice everything when it came to music, I miss the days when we weren't chase'n the dragon looking for trouble, The recordings are a good 5 years apart. Its been over 8 yrs clean but i still think about it almost every day, It all sounded good !
