A sample video took by SANYO Xacti DMX-CA8 Digital Movie Camera of a temple celebration activity in the Southern Taiwan village September 25th, 2010. the video is quite clear but the sound of the drums are almost(or all) lost, I think it may be cut-off by internal microphone automatic level control circuit. in fact, the drums were all sound very lound and I could feel the drum sound beating on my whole body. so for better sound effect, an external microphone which with wider dynamic range was needed.

SANYO Xacti DMX-CA8 防水型攝影機試拍, 台灣南部鄉村的廟會活動(2010年9月25日), 影像的部份還算清晰. 可是聲音的部份, 卻失去了現場鼓聲的震憾感. 猜想可能是攝影機內部的麥克風自動音量控制將聲音輸入過大的部份給切除了. 為了達到更好的錄音效果, 配備一支動態範圍更寬的外接麥克風是有必要的.
