After the hug he tells his brother that he was kidnapped by the Jap military and trained as a Samurai for the past 18 years and after he was finished slaughtering a poor tiny village due to the brainwashing chemicals in the ham one unfortunate soul showed him the error of his ways so he took down the prime minister and the Jap army with his Hatari Hanzo sword and is sorry that he only has a piece of ham for his brother that he hasnt seen in almost 20 years.

If you watch the two commercials together, and listen to the music... i don't know. its like sly is in a poly relationship with this random couple and brings them ham from japan (or to japan?) as a sign of his devotion. He must be away from home a lot.
