  • is this with the 9800 gx2? if so. what settings are you using?

  • indeed this is with a 9800gx2. It was on

    1680x1050

    textures - Medium

    render quality - High

    draw distanve - 40

    detail distance - 40

Since recording this video i have now got a q9550 and the game runs much better and i now have high textures and 50 on all the draw distances. It runs at about 40fps average

  • i hv a ps3 be jealous

  • Sorry bud but youtube is only capable of showing 720p videos. Your 1080p video is just going to be downconverted to 720p.

Nice video otherwise. I love this game. I have some GTA IV videos too.

  • I have a q9551, be jealous

  • nice

  • unfortunatly this is one of those games. I noticed an almost double in fps moving from a highly overclocked dual to a stock quad. The recmended requirements state a quad core.

The other problem is the 512mb VRAM in that 8800gt. For anything high you will need about 800mb to 1gb of VRAM. But as I said before it should look fine at 720p. Alternatively if you really want the higher resolution then try the -norestrictions command.

  • The Core Duo E8400 I believe is one of the best gaming Cpus at the moment, because it works at high clocks and some of the games at this moment are not taking full advantage from the quad cores.
