This is a tremolo project from http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/. There are two modification options for this pedal and I have done both. One mod is to allow the light to pulse in time with the speed setting, and the other is to install an SPST switch to enable use of the preamp only. (The pedal contains a really great sounding preamp.) Installing the switch will require an additional hole to be drilled and the switch, itself, can be picked up at a local Radio Shack.

  • This is awesome!

  • @HDeezy914: Thanks... cool pedal for sure.

  • Hi there, What paint did you use to get the nice finish on it?

  • @sonoffrog: Just simple olive drab with a clearcoat.

  • for the blinking are you using a 555 and a variable resistor?

  • Just changed the resistor from 15k to 10k and installing a blinking LED as shown in the mod instructions offered on the GGG site.

  • The switch Preamp/Tremolo is not usefull, because you can go to the preamp with depth pot at zero. You should use your toggle switch as a slow/fast tremolo.

  • The orange lettering is from Hobby Lobby. The clear-backed lettering is from a label maker I got at Wal-Mart.

  • Question: how do u make your decals that is, where do you find clear sticky paper?

  • Too bad it doesn't have a wave control
