This was a wonderful tutorial. You have a great way of presenting the benefits of a raw vegan diet. I know you will inspire many. You sure inspired me.

Just wondering, does anyone ever try to match going raw with also eating seasonally/locally. Cuz right now in February it kinda sucks if you're trying to do that. Nothing but potatoes and cabbage basically. Or would going raw just not work with that? I've never gone raw btw so I wouldn't know....

@MissShineBright it doesn't sound expensive... I am trippin. Ok would eating salad and green smoothies do me any good to get this started? I really can't eat other food I am allergic.

Great to see Raw Food promoted like this. Diet is one of the keys to fighting Cancer. My wife is on that journey and NOT using chemo - she is fighting it with alternative therapies including using Raw Food - she has met a lady last week who survived by changing her diet - this is so important to building a healthy immune system. p.s. I found your video really valuable because what I was concerned with was....."I am losing weight but if I am eating the raw desserts and nuts and coconut etc, ...am I going to gain weight?" So I was glad to hear that that is not the case. Especially because I am about to try making raw "fudge" for the first time lol! Thanks

I love your video and I really share your enthusiasm for raw! I am vegan and have recently decided to try a raw food lifestyle, partly for health and partly because I had recently gained 7 pounds which was odd because for years, I could eat whatever I wanted and not gain any weight. I started at 50 % but now have been 80 % for about a week or two and I love it. I don't really even want cooked food, I could do 100 % easily but I am allowing a window for Holidays, parties etc. And I lost the 7 lbs
Could you please tell me what do you normally eat in one day? ... just as an example...
Thanks

@VEGGIECHANNEL --- yes, sure. in the morning, a smoothie, usually with rice milk, coconut oil, a banana, organic blueberries, a soy protein supplement (Alive, specifically) and a scoop of Amazing Grass (all your fruits and veggies plus it tastes like chocolate). for lunch, depending how hungry i am, a big salad with spinach, carrots, red and orange peppers, walnuts, pepitas and sunflower seeds (all raw). sometimes my salads are gigantic. for dinner, usually something smaller, a salad...

@VEGGIECHANNEL ---- (continued) ---- at night, maybe another salad, but i'm also very fond of veggie sandwiches. i use toasted Ezekiel break, slice cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots (and whatever else); i use a base of hummus (you can make raw hummus if you like, usually i don't) instead of say, mayo (ew) ---- and that is OMG TASTY. snacking is usually carrots or fruit. i eat when i'm hungry, stop when i'm not. i eat very regularly too, usually the same types of stuff, it makes me happy. :)

@VEGGIECHANNEL --- oh, and i should note that i dress my salads with a homemade dressing of olive oil, balsamic and blue agave. for real, i lack for nothing, and when i stick to it i shed unneeded pounds and feel GREAT. i try to stick to 80% raw but sometimes i do less, sometimes more. the key is to be kind to yourself. eat what you like, eat when you want, love your body. write any time!
