Were you the buff when you made this vid?

i have an 08 Si, and wanted to note that the rev hang actually helps out when WOT shifting @ redline. IT helps the engine stay in its optimum torque band, engaging the next gear at ~6200k. this video does a good job portraying this.

@Babeeboi What a fucking retard. How would you expect they show the throttle response? The pedal will move by itself? Think bitch. What I Meant was he should've made the video with his pants and shoes on.

@Babeeboi Youre stupid. "THROTTLE RESPONSE" Asshole. You are just plain stupid. Case Closed. Dickhead.
-
@Babeeboi Well, how could i avoid looking at his "Sexy" legs when it is the main point of the video? (:|

@Babeeboi Thenn? Dont comment. LOL

just gotta learn how to deal with it... flashpro helps this a lot too

It's not DBW itself that's to blame. It's the way it's set up. I suspect that delay is for emissions control purposes. Instantaneously cutting off the air supply faster than the fuel supply can react can cause the engine to be momentarily running rich. This increases carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbon levels in the exhaust. By leaving the throttle valve open longer, this extra fuel is burned. I'm just speculating, but this seems logical, since some DBW systems don't have this delay.

Thanks for the video. I got a flashpro and it fixes this problem almost completely..day and night differences

you should see the accelerator delay that my twingo has. it is ridiculous. when i find some time i will record some video.
oh and dbw does NOT necessarily mean annoying lag. my nitro rc has dbw, it does not have 'lag'.
i think....
ALL HONDAS ARE GREAT...
and i hate seeing people without shoes while driving
