Doesn't anybody believe in free-market capitalism anymore? Economics is not a zero-sum game, there is an infinite number of products that can be produced. Buy the product you want whether it was made in China or elsewhere. Why make clothes when you can make bio-tech, nano-tech type stuff?
Our trading partners don't use child labor.
For those of you saying that all jobs can be exported, the more jobs that Chinese ppl have the higher their wage, and thus Americans will be more competitive.

It's geting harder and harder to find anything made in America . I just watched the Big One (Michael Moore documentary). The Nike sneaker CEO showed zero remorse in refusing to have factories here - and exploiting 14 yr old Indonesian workers. People are clueless - I would not dream of buying an expensive Nike shoe,esp after this show. Boycott these products. Buy union made and made in USA or we are cutting off our own noses .

i seen this house on the news and the ppl who live there say [ oh.we like to think we buy more american made products then most ppl do] ..and they show the ppl drive away in a fricken toyota..yeah..nothing says american more then a toyota..wake up ppl

STOP SELLING OUT THE CRAFTSMAN TOOL COMPANY TO TAIWANIAN TOOL MAKERS OR I WILL NO LONGER MAKE CRAFTSMAN TOOLS MY BRAND AND FOR THAT MATTER I WILL NOT SHOP AT SEARS OR K-MART AGAIN FOREVER! IF you think I am kidding, I found out about the Craftsman - Taiwan connection trying to buy 90 dollars worth of tools and discovered the label before I left Sears. Turned around to confirm that they were Taiwanian tools, and got my money back there and then. to date, I have 80 grand in tools over my lifetime
