looks like some sick trails

@OneBarSolo i ride this trail on my Kona Caldera which is a hardtail bike and wound up just fine... but keep in mind i am a more experiecned rider.. so i might have more abilities that you have..... but still its a nice ride if you know what your doing.. even on a hardtail(if you dont mind having a sore ass in the morning)

well, I don't know about these runs in particular, but I ride a hardtail brodie omegaon fromme all the time. I don't do any really hard stuff, I'm fairly new but I don't have any trouble on a hardtail on blues and mid level blacks

lolz dont count on it... there not exactly a walk in the park... ur breaks on trails like this are the by far most important part...

Disk brakes have much better stopping power and work better than rim brakes when wet.

You can do it on an XC/All-mountain type bike, but it will be very rough depending on which trails you ride. I used a 160mm travel bike a few years ago and did fine but enjoyed it much more with a 180mm travel bike.
can you also use hardtail bikes on this kind of trail?

I wouldn't. It would be unpleasantly bumpy.

It's very popular. We were there on a weekday and it was raining so we only saw a few other riders out.
